Memorial Visitation for Corbet Lloyd Penton, age 65, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019, will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm  at McDonald Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of McNeill, MS, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator and Welder. Corbet loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He enjoyed his morning coffee and talks with his friends. Corbet was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hudson Penton and Laura Dell Penton.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted daughter and son in law, Becky  and Chuck Simmons; his grandsons, Riley Simmons, Tanner Simmons, and Dawson Simmons; his brother, Jay (Cindy) Penton; his sister, Debra (Gene) Husley; his nieces, Summer Penton Browder, Ashley (John Albert) Penton Mitchell,, and Cameron Husley; his nephews, Eugene Husley and Jeremy Husley; great nieces and nephews; cousins, aunts, and a host of extended family.
