Funeral Services for Jerry Elaine Roche, age 74, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 1:00 pm at West Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at West Union Baptist Church.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Bud Putnam will officiate the service.

A native of Foxworth, MS, she was a retired Waitress, Substitute Teacher, Church Secretary, and the owner of Select Video. Elaine was a member of West Union Baptist Church. Her heart was always in the Smoky Mountains. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Elaine was a loving and devoted wife for over 50 years to Robert Lowry Roche, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Fletcher Neal and Dicey Louise Blansett Neal; her husband, Robert Lowry Roche, Sr.; her brother, C.F. “Bill” Neal; and her aunt, Louise Neal Odom.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cynthia Lawana “Cindy” (Milton) Skipper; her son, Robert “Robby” L. Roche, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Cassidy  (Katie) Skipper, Landon (Hailey) Skipper, Jerrica Skipper, Millicent (Matthew) Lee, Dalton (Shaina) Roche, Jordan Roche, and Zach Roche; 7 great grandchildren, Karmen Beech, Adalie Skipper, Anniston Skipper, Andie Skipper, Philip Lee, Annie Blake Roche, and River Roche; her sisters and brother, Paulette (D.C.) Campbell, N.F. “Jumpy” (Bonnie) Neal, Gatsey (Tim) Foxworth, and Nell (Thomas) Petis; her sister-in-law, Patricia “Pat” Neal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Tina Millet, Wayne Smith, and Shelly Johnson, for their devotion and loving care of our mother while she was ill.
