Funeral Services for Wilodean Sanders Porter, age 94, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Harold Manning will officiate the service.

A longtime resident of Picayune, MS, she was retired from Crosby Forest Products. Wilodean was a devout member of First United Methodist Church of Picayune, and the Ellanita Circle. She was a loving aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Choice Benton Sanders and Emma Patrick Sanders; her husband, Martin W. Porter, Jr.; her brother, Thomas Victor Sanders; and her sister, Charlene Sanders Byrd.

Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews, Amy (Joe) Sanders Daly, Thomas B. (Sherry) Sanders, Thomas David (Laura) Byrd, Diana Byrd, Wanda Chancellor, Mark (Donna) Porter, Jimmy (Tempe) Chancellor, and Judy (Owen) McIntyre; 11 great nieces and nephews, Emily Daly, Joey (Laura Ann) Daly, Ben Daly, Missy Sanders, Matt (Jessica) Sanders, Amy Byrd (Ross) Perdue, Andrew (Katie) Byrd, Stacey Wilkes and Marcus (Trisha) Wilkes; and 11 great great nieces and nephews.
