Mass of Christian Burial for Pearl Mary Woods, age 93, of White Cypress Community, MS, who passed away Monday, September 17, 2018, will be held Friday, September 21, 2018, at 2:00 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Fenton Sandhill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Father Adhav Satish will officiate the service.

A native of Dedeaux, MS, she was a graduate of Dedeaux School. She was a retired seamstress, having worked at Mac Smith and Movie Star. Pearl also worked for Hancock North Central School in the cafeteria. She was the best cook in the county. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Pearl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon Malley and Elvenia Niolet Malley; her husband of 73 years, Otis Woods; her sister, Veralee Cuevas; and her brothers, Buddy Malley, Norman Malley, Clyde Malley, and Kenneth Malley.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carl (Alana) Woods, Charles (Jo Ann) Woods, and Ruth (Junior) Page; 9 Grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren; her brothers, Renis Malley and Clifford Malley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
