Visitation for Mike Connor Smith, age 86, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Derby, MS, he was a retired Farmer. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Buck Smith and Birdie Mae Jarrell Smith; and 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 1/2 years, Barbara June Pikla Smith; his sons, John Clay (Shelley) Smith, Michael David (Lisa) Smith, Robert Joseph (Kristie) Smith, and Mark Christopher Smith; his foster child, Barbara Pikla; 11 grandchildren, Candace Smith, Austin (Marilyn) Matthews, Christian (Trysta) Smith, Kristi Smith, Rio Sale, Camryn Smith, Sienna Smith, Joseph Smith, Kaden Smith, Kortney Smith, and Konner Smith; 2 great granddaughters, Avalynn and Averie Smith; his sister, Sue Lott; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends.
