Funeral Services for Hubert Cornelius Seals, Jr., age 82, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, were held Monday, August 13, 2018, at 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 34 Pine Grove Road, Picayune, MS.

Visitation was Monday, August 13, 2018 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Reggie Bridges and Rev. Shad Kennedy officiated the service, assisted by Bro Cody Warren.

A native of Caesar Community, MS, he was a retired Self Employed Contractor and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Jr was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Cornelius Seals, Sr. and Edna Earl Smith Seals; his sister, Loretta Spence; and his brothers, Joseph Daniel Seals, Robert Earl Seals, and Charles Wayne Seals.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Sarah Jane Seal Seals; his children, Hubert “Cooter” Seals, III and wife Sharon, Debra Jane Seals, and Sarah Elizabeth Green and husband Terry; 9 Grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; his sisters, Mary Spence, and Kathern Dana; his brother, Johnny Seals and wife Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
