On August 11 local business Mutt & BC’s Bar & Grill will be hosting a music festival featuring several vendors and local musicians.
Faith Hill Cooper, owner of CooperHill Entertainment, said there will be live music, bounce houses and a cornhole tournament for children. Several vendors will be selling their wares and food will be available for purchase from Mutt & BC’s. This is the first year the establishment will be hosting this kind of event and Cooper said they hope it will become an annual occasion.
The festival is free and will be located in the lot behind Mutt & BC’s. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
The event will begin at noon with local musicians Gage O’Brien, Chase Chapoton and Dawson Davis playing until 1 p.m. Afterwards, from 3 to 6 p.m. the band Rock Kandy, which has two local members, will headline the event.
She said vendors interested in setting up a booth can contact her directly at 601-347-6029. Mutt and BC’s Bar and Grill is located at 2309 East Canal Street in Picayune.
