Funeral Services for Gloria Ann Gjertsen, age 88, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 11:00 am at Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Roseland Park Baptist Church. 

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Young will officiate the service .

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, she was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Percell Stockstill and Anna Bell Stroud Stockstill; her brother, Richard Stockstill; and her sister, Mary Lozes.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 65 years, Roy Bernhard Gjertsen; her children, Jeanne Gail Gjertsen, Stephen Eric Gjertsen, and Scott Alan (Mindy) Gjertsen; three grandchildren, Anders Gjertsen,, Laura Frances Gjertsen, and Christy (Jon) Bryson; six great-grandchildren, Isaac Bryson, Noah Bryson, Hannah Bryson, Kabody Bryson,, Chloe Bryson, and Rebekah Bryson; her brother, J. C. (Carolyn) Stockstill, and several nieces and nephews.
