Memorial Services for Deanna Ann Wolford, age 76, of Carriere, Mississippi, who passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 12:00 pm at her home. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

 A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, she was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. Deanna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel Slater and Frances Calcagno Slater; her grandson, Bobby Ferguson; her brothers, Lionel “Brother” Slater, Walter Slater; and her sister, Lacey Dussor.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Elster Dean Wolford; her children, Chuck (Tammy) Chauppetta, Jr., Deanna A. “Angel” (Cory) Evans, and Salvadore V. (Christine) Chauppetta; her grandchildren, Jessica (Ray) Barlow, Cody Martin, Laura Brown, Donald Goodrich, and Savannah Goodrich, Kerrie Chauppetta, Malcolm Chauppetta, and Kim (Jack) Kellum; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; her sisters and brother, Florentine Heimel, James Slater, and Frances (Louis) Mascaro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
