Graveside Funeral Services for Betty Carol Lowe Hembree, age 73, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018, will be held Monday, March 19, 2018, at 12:30 pm at Carriere Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, March 19, 2018 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Carriere Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, she was a retired Apartment Manager and a member of World Prayer Tabernacle.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the Red Hats Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Wilmer Lowe and Braddis Ishee Lowe; her grandson, Michael Chadney Guthrie; her granddaughter, Erica Pierce; her sister, Kimelly Martin; and her brother, Howard Lowe.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 30 years, Gerald Dale Hembree; her children, Mike (Teresa) Guthrie, Diana Becnel, Pam Schaubhut, Gaye (Robby) Knot, and Melissa (Brad) Guillory; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
