Mass of Christian Burial for Rodney Joseph Poche´, Jr., age 87, of McNeill, Mississippi, formerly of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, will be held Friday, February 16, 2018, at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, Mississippi 39466.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2018 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father John Noone will officiate the service.

A native of Paulina, Louisiana, he served in the Louisiana National Guard, Rodney was a retired banker (Fifth District Savings Bank). He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. Rodney was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rodney Joseph Poche´, Sr. and Eloise Dufrene Poche´; and his sister, Eloise Theron.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Dolores Perrin Poche´; his children, René (Angel) Poche´, Daryl Poche´, Rosanne Poche´, Dwayne (Sharon) Poche´, and Kim Stifflemire; his three grandchildren, Rene Jr., Eden, and Dwayne Jr.; and his five great grandchildren.
