Graveside Funeral Services for Yvonne Whitfield Simpson, age 95, of Hot Springs National Park, AR, formerly of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 11:00 am at New Palestine Cemetery.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, she was a Real Estate Broker and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sebron Britt Whitfield and Winnie Frierson Whitfield; her husband, Dewitt Franklin Simpson; her brothers and sisters, Dallas Whitfield, Edith Rowell, Ethel McGinnis, S. B. Whitfield, Jr., and Willie Ray Whitfield; and her grandson, Britt Simpson.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Terrell (Anita) Simpson; her daughter, Elaine (Gary) Sams; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
