Funeral Services for Travis John Dwyer, Sr., age 43, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Lisa Pridmore will officiate the service.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he moved to Chalmette, Louisiana for 3 years. In 1977, he moved to Picayune, Mississippi. Travis was a roofer, offshore man for 5 years, and worked in construction. In his earlier years, Travis played T Ball and Baseball.

He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Edward Dwyer III and Vivian Mary (Duplantis) Dwyer, and Clyde Murphy Welch, Sr. and Martha Emma (Brooks)  Welch; and his uncle, Clyde Murphy Welch, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, John Edward Dwyer, IV and Glenda Beatrice Welch Dwyer; his sons,  Travis “T.J.” John (Haley Leanne) Dwyer, Jr., Skilar Blake Dwyer, Kyle Dean Dwyer, and Branson Chayse Dwyer Lee; his three grandchildren, Jyaden Danyell Dwyer, Pyper Grace Dwyer, and Carson Luke Dwyer; his aunts and uncles, Patricia Ann (Welch) Gardere, Jeff and Rhonda Welch; and his cousins, Mike Wood, Missy Mesa, and Clyde M. “Kippy” Welch, III.
