The Pearl River County School District will hold its second annual employee recruitment job fair on Feb.1.
The fair will be held at the Pearl River Central High School cafeteria from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. that day.
The fair will provide all candidates interested in a teaching position within the School District with an opportunity to meet with the District’s administration team.
Superintendent Alan Lumpkin said the response to the first recruitment fair held last year was phenomenal. During this year’s fair, he hopes to hire many qualified applicants in time for the 2018-19 academic year.
While last year’s fair focused only on teacher recruitment, this year the District is looking for talented professionals across all departments.
Booths for all five schools of the district will be set up in the cafeteria where attendees can receive information and flyers highlighting the accomplishments and services provided at each campus.
Interested applicants are required to bring an updated resume and completed employment application form that can be found on the school district’s website. Chromebooks will be available at the fair for anyone who was unable to bring in a completed application.
Lumpkin said the fair will provide an opportunity for candidates to interact with the District’s administration in a relaxed atmosphere.
“We are looking for great people to partner with and support the children of PRC and would like everyone interested in the development of young children to be a part of the fair,” Lumpkin said.
