Memorial Services for Oliver Wendell Frierson, age 57, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. 

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Doyle Moore and Rev. Allen Hickman will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, he was a Supervisor for Fieldwood Energy. Wendell was a loving husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Frierson and Edith Johnson Frierson; and his sister, Beth Malley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Haley Hendrickson Frierson; his children, Madison Edith Frierson, Wendell Mark Frierson, Steven (Katie Kirkland) Mistretta, and Austin (Mandy) Mistretta; his eight grandchildren, Jewelee, Abree, Jax, Cole, Eli, Sal, Charleigh, and Tanner; his sisters, Linda (Bro. Doyle) Moore and Janis (Kenny) Stockstill; his brother-in-law, Roger Malley; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
