Jeanette Virginia Kennedy, age 76, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Neary and Bro. Ryan May officiating. Burial will be at West Union Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kennedy was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a homemaker, and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons, Alex Kennedy (Janet) of Poplarville, and Leland Kennedy (Punkin) of Carriere; sisters, Shernell Gordon (Dale) of Wilmot, Arkansas, and Bettye Sones (Joe) of Henleyfield; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Bessy Hill; and husband, Wendell Kennedy.
