Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth Jude “Kenny” Ruiz, age 71, of Hideaway Lake Community, Mississippi, who passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, will be held Friday, December 1, 2017, at 12:00 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, Mississippi 39466.

Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune, Mississippi.

Local arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, Louisiana, under the direction of Poole Ritchie Funeral Home.

Father Joseph Trinh will officiate the service.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he served in the U.S. Navy. Kenneth was a retired Accountant for Regional Transit Authority of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was an avid gardener. Kenneth was a loving brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew John Ruiz, Sr and Irma Horan Ruiz.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Andrew “A.J” John (Mary Jane) Ruiz, Jr. and Roger (Audrey) Ruiz; and his sister, Diane (Phil) Migliore; 12 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
