Funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at 10 am in Slidell Veteran Cemetery for First Class Petty Officer Cindy Mixon Reams, age 55, of Kiln, Mississippi. She died Nov. 3, 2017 in Kiln, Mississippi. Burial will be in the Slidell Veteran Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home. She was retired from the Coast Guard, where she was a First Class Petty Officer for 20 years. 

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Reams ll of Kiln, Mississippi; 1 son, William Joseph Mixon of Kiln, Mississippi; one stepson, Charlie Reams ll; one stepdaughter, Cayenne Reams; one granddaughter, Lola Reams; two sisters, Vicky Mixon Walker of England and Kimberly Mixon Boyd of Kiln, Mississippi; three brothers, Harold Mixon of Kiln, Mississippi and Charles Mixon Jr. and Jason Mixon both of Alabama; four nieces, Angel Labaube, Misty Labaube, Lisa Walker, Milana Walker; four nephews, Kennedy Walker, Taylor Walker, Reilly Walker and Jessie Shoemaker; seven godchildren, Morgan, Domanick, Tateun, Jasmine, Keola and Cayson; her beloved animals, Rocky and Flint. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Mickey and Anita Mixon. . Memorial service will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at 6 pm until 9 pm at New Bethel Full Gospel in the Leetown Community under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
