Memorial Services for June F. Jayroe, age 76, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Houma, Louisiana, she was a Homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. June was a past President of the Beautification Committee for the City of Slidell, and also the past President of the Picayune Garden Club. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Falgout and Marie Lecompte Falgout; and her brother, Roy Francis Falgout.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Walker L. “Bud” Jayroe; her sons, Steven (Lori Molaison) Jayroe, David (Kimberly Smith) Jayroe, and Gerald Jayroe; her seven grandchildren, Amy (Zach) Glenn, Davey (Charlie) Jayroe, Brittney Kubik, Taylor (Josh) Bono, Beth Jayroe, Nicholas Jayroe, and Sarah Rose Jayroe; her four great grandchildren, Amelia Glenn, Camille Jayroe, Ethan Glenn and Blaine Jayroe; her sisters, Marie (Marion) Austin, Judy (Louis) Brien, and Diane (Glen) Cedotal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
