Funeral Services for John Robert “Johnny” McDaniel, age 70, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017, will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.  Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.  Elder Tommy Hudnall will officiate the service.

A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, he was a Retired Route Salesman from Borden’s Milk Company and Sara Lee Bread Company and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. Johnny was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee “R.L.” McDaniel and Edith Louise Robbins McDaniel; his wife of 40 years, Beverly Joyce Lumpkin McDaniel; and his sister, Judith McDaniel Pfister.  Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jeremy McDaniel and his wife, Theresa; 4 grandchildren, James McDaniel, Danielle (Ethan) Martin, Jeremy McDaniel, II, and Mollie (Chris) Wagner; 4 great grandchildren, Jayden McDaniel, Cadence Wagner, Merit Wagner, and McKenna Martin; and his brother, Jody (Tina) McDaniel.  Obituary, register book, and driving directions can be found on the internet page, at www.mcdonaldfh.com
