Funeral Services for Dorothy “Dot” Vernon Stewart Welsh, age 94, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 2:30 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church. 

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Clark Stewart will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Cody Warren.

A native of Pearl River County, MS, she and her husband owned Atlas Gas Company for over 30 years. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Dot made porcelain dolls, and crocheted. She loved to read books and cook.   

Mrs. Welsh  was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Vernon Stewart and Ella Jane Burks Stewart; and her husband, H.R. “Dick” Welsh.

She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine (Wayne) Welsh Seal and Eileen (David) Welsh Baker; and her grandchildren, David “Bake” Baker, Tara Eileen Baker, Tony Seal, Kelly Wayne Seal, and Alison Seal Duhe’.
