A graveside funeral Service for Marilyn Elizabeth Davis, age 80, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017, will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Gipson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, she was a City Hall Tax Clerk for the City of Picayune, and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson Roberts and Louella Alice Mitchell; first husband and father of her children, Johnnie Averiese Burge; her husband of 40 years, Burlon “Bud” Davis; her sons, Joey Burge and Robert Burge; her daughter, Sandra Ouder; and her grandson, Robert Burge Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren, John (Megan) Burge, Jennifer Burge, Heather (Mark) Dunnam, Katie (Simon) Seals, Michel Ouder, Rachel Ouder, and Joey Burge, Jr.; 11 great grandchildren, Ryder and Amelia Burge, Brooklyn Wilson, Braden, Brody, and Brailey Dunnam, Simon Seals, Jr., Alexis and Amily Fowler, and Adeline and Landon O’Meara; and her sister, Jackie McQueen.
