“Take me to the King”
Services for Dora Ann Roy, 68 of Picayune, Miss. will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church who entered into her father’s kingdom on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune, Miss.
Dora Ann was born May 5, 1948 to the late Richard and Dessie Flowers Dunbar in Bogalusa, La. Moved to Picayune, Miss. in 1965 and married A.D. Roy and to this union five children were born.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, five devoted children, Sandra Faye Roy, Adrienne Denise Roy, Anthony Duane Roy, Reginald Johnson, and Irene Renee Johnson; one precious sister, Ethel LaBlanc; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in Oakland, Calif. at a later date. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
