On October 10, 2015, Natha Lee “Nat” Roberts Campbell passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 94 to dwell forever with her Lord and Savior. She was a loved and respected resident of Lacombe, La for approximately 40 years, Poplarville, Ms area for nearly 13 and Houston, Tx for 5 years.
Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services to be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA,  on Friday, October 16, 2015 at1:00P.M. Visitation on Friday, October 16, 2015, from 11:00A.M. until 1:00P.M., with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Of tough southern stock and fortitude, Natha Lee was born on January 12, 1921 in Lincoln, AL. She was the youngest of six children. With the exception of her oldest sister Hazel M. Pugh of Graham, NC who is now 103 years young, all of her other siblings have preceded her in death. They are Lamar Phillips, Welburn Phillips, Ruby Freeman and Neda Phillips. Miss Nat was an admired member of the Garden Club, Camelia Club and United Methodist Church. Her corner lot on Fish Hatchery Road in Lacombe was often awarded the “Garden of the Month” and her beautiful Camelia entries seemed to steal the shows each year with blue ribbons. She was a substitute teacher in the St Tammany Parish Public School system and worked for several years at Southeast Hospital as a teacher.
Survivors include her sister Hazel M. Pugh, daughter Anita Roberts Williamson, son-in-law Richard Wayne Williamson, Gordon and Sue Campbell, Jr., grandchildren Paul Nathan Sibley, Ryan Campbell, Cheryl Williamson Pearson, great grandchildren Ryan Pearson and Matthew Pearson, niece Charlotte Anne Ward and nephews James Andrew Ward III, Andy Phillips, Charlie Phillips and Pastor Benny Phillips.
Thanks beyond measure to all of the people God placed in Natha Lee’s life to help her and her family transition and accomplish so much.
