The 66th annual Chamber Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. The Picayune Chamber of Commerce will host the ceremony at The Link at First Baptist Church of Picayune located at 401 Goodyear Boulevard.
The 2010 champion of television’s “Masterchef” and local resident Whitney Miller will be the guest speaker for the event. Tickets are on sale for $40 and can be purchased by calling 601-798-3122.
The Chamber staff is still accepting nominations for the following awards: Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Civic Club of the Year and Excellence in Business. Nomination forms can be downloaded and submitted by e-mail on the Chamber of Commerce website. The awards are not exclusive to Chamber members, and the staff encourages the general public to submit nominations to honor the outstanding members of our community.
The deadline for all nominations is Friday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m.
