A memorial service celebrating the life of Amy M. Lee will be held on October 18th, 2014, 6 p.m. at 25070 Rester Road in Picayune, Miss.
Amy was born March 1, 1979 and grew up in the Ceasar community. She attended the Pearl River County school district, and graduated from Pearl River Community College with a degree in cosmetology. She used her cosmetology degree to work her way through college at the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating with a degree in mathematics.After graduating from USM, she moved to Houston and worked for M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. She moved from Houston to California where she worked for 5 years. In April of 2013 she moved to live with her mother after being in a wreck in June of 2012. She was later employed by USM in Nov, 1 2013.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph A. (Joey) Lee, grandparents, Frances and Robert Patenotte, Sr. of Long Beach, MS and Felix Monroe and Myrtis Spiers Lee of Picayune.She is survived by her mother, Edwina Boo Patenotte Lee and father, William O. (Bill) Lee and his wife Norma Jean, brothers Eddie Lee of Long Beach, MS., William O. (W.O.) Lee of Picayune, Timothy R. (BobbyT) Lee of Baton Rouge, LA, sister Christy Lee of Picayune, half sister Sherry Lee and half brother Jeff Lee, nieces Hailey May, Makayla Lee, Bailey Beech, Alexie Lee, nephews Jonathan Lee, Blake Siebenkittle, Cody Averett, Robert T. Lee and her precious dog, LuLu.
Amy was independent and a free spirit. She enjoyed playing both guitar and bass guitar, being in the mountains, dancing and driving her Jeep Wrangler.
Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service to share memories and celebrate her life.
