Robert Henderson, a native of Detroit, MI, was born on February 26, 1977 to Mrs. Barbria Bradford. He departed his earthly life on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Huntington, West VA. Rob accepted Christ in his youth and attended Spiritual Israel #8 in Detroit, MI. Rob was educated in Detroit Public Schools. He was preceded in death by his grandmother – Willie Mitchell-Whitehead; grandfathers – John Taylor and Seymore Butler.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Barbria (James) Bradford of Lumberton, Miss.; daddy, Robert Taylor of Detroit, MI; father, Coleman Davis of Picayune; grandmother, Ola Mae Butler of Detroit, MI; four (4) daughters – Kasana Devoest of Huntsville, Ala.; Samia Henderson of Detroit, MI; Dohntaesha Winters of Muskegee, MI; and Maleah Winters of Huntington, W. VA; one son – Ramone Jackson of Picayune; five (5) brothers – Anthony McWilliams; Steve Parker; Jason Mayes of Huntington, W. VA; Geon Henderson and Terrell Hall of Detroit, MI; two sisters – Nikcola Henderson of Lumberton, MS and Shemika Hall of Detroit, MI.; five aunts – Martha Mitchell of Picayune; Carolyn Elaine Barnes of Marietta, GA; Sharon Whitehead of Columbus, GA; Melody and Nicole Hawkins of Detroit, MI; five uncles – Edward Whitehead of Picayune; David Mitchell, Sr. of Richmond, VA; Luther Humphries; Frank and John Taylor, all of Detroit, MI; a special nephew – Phillip McMorris of Detroit, MI and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Rob will be missed by all. He was such a caring and loving person and would do anything to help at any time. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Rosa of Sharon Church of God in Christ. Elder David Simmons is Pastor. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
