75th Anniversary for Flemings

Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Fleming will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. at their home in the Salem community.
J.T. Fleming was born on October 10, 1920 in Hancock County to Ford and Maluvy Fleming. Valiree was born August 6, 1920, in Hancock County to Newton and Amanda Jones.
They both grew up in this small community while attending both church and school together. This is where their 75-year-long love story began and is still going strong today.
Their courtship led to their marriage on May 19, 1939 in Picayune.
After a brief time of living in Louisiana, during the early part of their marriage, they returned to their beloved Salem community in 1958 and have remained since.
They are the proud parents of six children, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Their immediate family is 63 members strong and growing each day.
The family would like to invite friends and family members to join in the celebration of this 75-year love story.
