Easter Mae Smith

Funeral Services for Easter Mae Smith, 84, of  Picayune, Miss., who passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 5- 8 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Cedric Lumpkin and Bro. Brandon Parker will officiate the service.

A native of Ceasar Community, Miss., she was a Seamstress and a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, William Harris Lee and Mallie Dillard Lee; her husband, Aaron Wesley Smith; her daughter, Patricia Azoline Smith; her son, Gary Ronald Smith; one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include: her children, Janice Smith Carver and husband Bill;  and Brenda Gail Smith; her eight grandchildren: Robin Skipper, Shannon Smith, Dusty Odom, Brandon Parker, Randy Carver, Terry Carver, Jimmy Carver, and Kellie Carver; her 14 great-grandchildren; her 8 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a very close friend and caregiver, Brenda Varnado.
