Little Lourdes Valverde, left, and Fatima Valverde were at Jack Read Park on Monday with their Aunt Maureen Valverde, getting their picture taken for the home album when they saw an Item photographer approaching. After he introduced himself, the two little Southern Belles told their aunt they wanted their picture taken by him. So that’s what happened, after a phone call to the parents for an okay. The two beautiful belles were dressed up for an appearance in a festival at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Valverdes are originally from Costa Rico.
