Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 12:30 p,m, at Henleyfield Cemetery for William W. “Bill” Archer, 67, of Picayune, who passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 in Picayune.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Jerry Hubbard will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, he worked in construction with sheetrock and he was a member of Central Baptist Church. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, William W. Archer Sr. and Helen Stegall Archer; his son, James Ernest “Jim” Archer; his brother, Bruce A. Archer, and his sister, Patty Archer Lijca.

Survivors include: his wife, Joy Nottage Archer of McNeill; his sons, William Joseph “Joey” (Darlene) Archer and Nathan Lane “Sonny” (Becky) Archer; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Gerald “Keith” (Judy) Archer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
