Graveside services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Sarah “Meme” Delila Sanford Casbon, 61, of Carriere who passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Carriere.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. William Gary Smith will officiate at the service.

A native of McKenzie, Ala., she was a Pharmacy Tech and a member of Carriere Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be truly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Farrell Sanford Sr. and Betty Odom Sanford; and her husband, Julius Casbon.

Survivors include: her children, Dawn Marie Myers of Pearl River, La., and Darcy Myers of Carriere, and Missy; her granddaughters, Jessica Myers and Sarah Myers; her sisters and brother, Sandra Sanford Richard of Kenner, La., James Farrell (Christine) Sanford, Jr. of Metairie, La., and Shirley Sanford Riles of Kenner; four great-grandchildren, Amber, Julie, Breelynn and little Marlow; and her niece and nephews, Tabatha, Ricky Jr. and Elijah.

There will be no visitation.
