Rylee Dawsey, a 7th Grade Cheerileaderfrom Picayune Junior High School, with Claire Wheatley and Sarah Arthur, Junior Varsity Cheerleaders from PMHS  have been selected to be a part of more than 500 elementary, junior high and high school cheerleaders from across the country that will perform in the “UCA/UDA Thanksgiving Tour” at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.

The individuals invited to perform in the parade are part of a select group of cheeleaders chosen as cheerleading All Americans during the Universal Cheerleaders Association(UCA) summer camps across the country. Only the top 12% of the cheerleaders from UCAor UDA camps earn the chance to march in the holiday parade.

The girls are participating in a “Shake A Can” Fund Raiserto be held at Wal-Mart this Saturday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. This Fund Raiserwill be used to pay for expenses for these girls to represent Picayune Cheerleading Squads and our Picayune School District in Disney World, in Novermber.
