On Wednesday, September 14, 2010, our beautiful April departed from this life in Lafayette, La. She was 31 years of age.

She was preceded in death by: her loving mother, Susan D. King of Picayune; and her grandfather, Bobby King of Ocean Springs.

April is survived by: her precious son, Alek King of Picayune, whom she loved with all her heart; her adoring father, Robert King (Faye) of Gulfport; one sister, Candi Freeman (Frankie) of D’Iberville; two brothers, Robert “Bubba” King (Candis) of Poplarville and Matthew King (Annie) of Picayune; and three nieces and three nephews.

A memorial service will be held for April on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 1 p.m. at D’Iberville Christian Assembly, located at 3496 Big Ridge Road in D’Iberville. Friends may visit from 12 p.m. until service time. As there is no graveside service, the family requests that concerned friends and relatives, please, send no flowers.

April’s smile and witty sense of humor will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Always beautiful, forever able to make us laugh, she will live eternally in our hearts and our memories.
