Authorities in Mississippi have arrested a man wanted in Virginia on a felony warrant for allegedly impersonating a police officer.
Gulfport Police Sgt. Chris Ryle says police officers believe 37-year-old Ryan Nicholas O’Donnell II may have also posed as a police officer in Mississippi, but they need the public’s help to confirm it.
Police arrested O’Donnell without incident Saturday based on intelligence about him possibly living in the Gulfport area.
He was arrested and charged on a fugitive warrant from the Front Royal Virginia Police Department for fraud. After his arrest, he was taken to the Harrison County jail, where he was being held pending extradition to Virginia.
