Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Jessie W. Gordy, 65, of Carriere, who passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate at the service.

A native of Griffin, La., he was a truck driver.

Survivors include: his wife, Hildegard Gordy of Carriere; his children, Tony Gordy of Georgia and Kelly Sims of Valley, Ala.; his step-daughter, Monika Ancalade; three brothers, one sister, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
