Henry S. Stevens, 74, passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 at his residence. Services will be held at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 1 p.m., with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be at Picayune Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10 from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mr. Stevens, a resident of Lumberton, was born in Lenoir City, Tenn. and moved here from St. Tammany, La. He worked for the City of New Orleans and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his former wife, Linda Stevens Ladner of Petal; three sons, Anthony Stevens of Lumberton, Glenn Stevens of Greenville, Ind., and Bruce Stevens of Picayune; one daughter, Susie Kendrick of Picayune; two brothers, Dan Stevens of Randleman, N.C. and David Stevens of Carriere; three sisters, Pearl Evans of Picayune, Ruby Williamson of Picayune and Dixie Butler of Sarasota, Fla.; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
