Funeral services were held Friday, March 30, 2007 at First United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. for Josie Lee Dement, 90, of Wiggins, Miss. who died March 28, 2007 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Burial was held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiggins. Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

She was a retired dance instructor and a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, CPL James McMillan, causality of Iwojima WWII, and the Reverend W.R. “Bill” Dement; three sisters, Gladys Welch, Marie Raines and Elise Allen.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sheryl McMillan of Hattiesburg, Billye Jo Fleming of Wiggins; two grandchildren, Owen Fleming of Wiggins and Jameye and husband Brett Harris of Wiggins.

Visitation was held Thursday, March 29 at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins.
