Firefighters with the Picayune Fire Department responded to two fires Friday night.
Lt. Jason Hunt issued a release that states a Dodge pickup caught fire at the corner of Betsy Drive and Sally Drive Friday night at 10:45.
Later that night at 5 a.m. a residential fire at 210 Palestine Road was extinguished so quickly by members of C shift that the occupants of the home were able to recover most of their belongings.
Hunt said no injuries were reported in either incident.
