Man killed in accident on I-59
On Sunday, a man who was walking in the middle of Interstate 59 was killed after being hit by two cars.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident that happened near the Lumberton exit.
The man, Delbert C. Legget Jr., 35, was walking northbound when Casey Davis, 41, of Petal, first struck him. Davis stopped at the side of the road immediately after the collision. Another driver, Magdaline Martin, then struck Legget, who was lying in the road.
