Funeral Services for Charles Theodore Wood, age 91, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, who passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Old Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Elder James McCraney and Elder Jessie Johnson will officiate the service.

A native of Gainesville, Mississippi, he was a retired Paper Wood Operator and a member of Old Palestine Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Washington Wood and Florence Bell Dubuison Mays Wood; his wife, Alice Wood; his brothers and sisters, William David (Gussie) Wood, Ida Belle (Charley) Phillips (Eli Coffman), Hazel “Hootie” Viola (Cornelius) Davis, Lillian Elizabeth (Charlie) Beam, Annie May (James) Wyman, Laura Amelur (Henry, Sr.) Hann, Wilma Florence (Judsman) Coffman, and Margaret (Maurice) Mitchell.

Left to cherish his memory are his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends living in Pearl River and Hancock counties, and Louisiana, and close friends who cared for Theodore several years, Linda and Jimmie Johnston Oglesby.
