Christian Life Assembly of God Church in Picayune will host an Easter Eggstravaganza on March 24.
The event will take place at Crosby Commons in Picayune from 2-5 p.m.
Darrell Worley, senior pastor for the church, said the family oriented event will be fun for all age groups as they celebrate the spirit of Easter.
Worley said the main attraction of the event will be the egg hunt. Children up to 12 years of age can participate in the event, which will feature more than 10,000 Easter eggs hidden throughout the venue that day.
The egg hunt will be organized according to different age groups.
Children can also enjoy the various fun jumps that will be set up across the park that day.
Worley said attendees of the event can enter their names into a drawing. Winners will be picked at the end of the event. Prizes for the drawing will be donated by local businesses, Worley said.
The Eggstravaganza will also feature live music.
“It’s a day to have fun with family, celebrate the spring season and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Worley said.
