Funeral Services for Barbara Lynn Roberts, age 66, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, who passed away Friday, February 9, 2018, will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at 2:00 pm at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at New Palestine Baptist Church. 

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Jason Edwards and Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, she was born in Hinds County, Mississippi. Lynn was a graduate of USM with a BS in Accounting, a retired Chief Financial Officer for the American Red Cross, New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Certified Fraud Investigator. She was an active member of Diamondhead Community Church and The Diamondhead Garden Club, was a past officer of the Krewe of Nereids. Lynn was a loving sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis R. Furr, Jr. and Louise Carlisle Furr; her husband of over 30 years, Craig P. Roberts; her daughter, Frances Diane Goins; and her brother, Sidney A. Furr.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Hollis R. “Sonny” Furr, III; her sister, Julia Ann (Larry) Cagle; her nephews, Shawn (Sunnie) Cagle, Colton (Victoria) Cagle, and Joel Cagle; her nieces, Candice (Jeremy) Lindseth, Tabitha Louise Cagle, and Hope Furr; and her great nieces and nephews, Taylor Lindseth, Ryder Coello, Jaxon James Cagle, and Rylynn Annette.
