City of Picayune to prepare streets for icy conditions

According to a statement from the city of Picayune, Public Works employees are coordinating with MDOT and all other city departments in preparation for the incoming winter storm.
Public works employees will begin salting the following bridges at 2 p.m. today; Jan. 16.
I-59 overpass on Highway 607
I-59 overpass on Highway 43 North ( East Sycamore) Exit 6
Boley bridge on Highway 43 North
Boley Bridge on North Beech
Boley Bridge on Highway 11 North at Dockside Seafood
Manpower will be available for call out after hours as needed.
Concerns or reports can be called into”311″ or 601-799-0602, between the hours of 7 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
