Rachel Irene Hamrick, age 75, of Saline, Louisiana passed away Friday, January 12, 2018.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hamrick was a cosmetologist, and of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by sons, Brian R. Hamrick and his wife Sonya of Saline, Louisiana, and Donald E. Hamrick, Jr. and Michelle of Kenner, Louisiana; daughters, Donna Lynn Mohr and her husband David of Kenner, Louisiana, and Anne Marie Williams and her husband Malcom of Kenner, Louisiana; sisters, Rita Dupre of Belle Chase, Louisiana, Ruth Andrews and her husband Andy of Pensacola, Florida, and Rosemary Stewart of Huntsville, Alabama; and five grandchildren, Marc Hamrick of Hickory, North Carolina,  Dylan Hines-Walker of Saline, Louisiana, Danny Mohr of Kenner, Louisiana, Devon Mohr of Kenner, Louisiana, and Ian Williams of Kenner, Louisiana. ; and three great-grandchildren, Serenity, Mason, and Braydon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Donaghue and Myrtle Legnon Donaghue; husband, Donald E. Hamrick, Sr.; and brother Ralph Donaghue.
