Memorial Services for Morris “Griff” Griffin Williams, age 86, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Carl Heberg will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, he served in the U.S. Army. Griff was a retired Electrical Contractor and a member of Baptist Faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy Warren Williams and Elgie Stewart Williams; his daughter, Lynn Dennis; his son, Robert “Bobby” Warren Williams; and his sisters, Juanita Degorge, Joyce Samrow, and Mary Lou Erker.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Janice Rodgers Williams; his son, Frank (Linda) Williams; his grandchildren, Blake Dupepe, Jessi Newman, Sarah Tussey, Rachel Weis, Phillip Williams, Dustin Dennis, and Brittany Dennis; his 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
