Joan Botti Berthold, age 85, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Friday, November 10, 2017.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mass will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Berthold formerly of New Orleans was a resident of Pearl River County for over 30 years, a homemaker, and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband Melvin Berthold of Carriere; two sons, Craig Berthold and his wife Cynthia of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Robert Berthold and his wife Sherri of Slidell, Louisiana; two daughters, Angele Reid and her husband Patrick of Beaumont, Texas, and Anne Marie Parker and her husband Victor of Carriere; four grandchildren, Kristin, Sean Patrick, Hunter, and Samantha; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Walker, and Weston.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Alvera Botti; and one daughter, Manette Cole.
