Marjorie White Harrison

Marjorie White Harrison died peacefully at Ridgeland Hospice October 14, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born July 21, 1928 in Marks, Mississippi and had lived in Germany, Texas, Indiana, Wisconsin, Oklahoma as well as well as in Mississippi (Jackson, Picayune, Moorhead, Starkville, Morton, Senatobia and Clinton.
As an Army wife, she excelled at establishing new homes for six children that benefitted enormously from her energy, passion and love of family. Once she launched her youngest, she moved her passion to Eastern Star and became Mississippi’s Worthy Grand Matron.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, dining with Red Hat Club and shopping for shoes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ollie White, brother Jimmy White, sister Jo Warrington and her husband James Harrison.
She will be greatly missed by her sister Betty (Wayne) Morris, brother Allen (Becky), children Tom (Deborah) Harrison, Beverly (Roger) Threet, Anne Harrison, Mike (Shelley) Harrison, Ellen Willard and Bill (Glenda) Harrison, numerous grand and great grandchildren, and her extended family.
