Funeral Services for Lois Bertha Davis, age 97, of Carriere, Mississippi, who passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017, at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Dan Young will officiate the service.

A native of Pearl River County, MS, she was a Homemaker and a founding member of Roseland Park Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Kendrick and Nancy Smith Kendrick; her husband, Clarence Davis; her son, Randy Davis; and her sister, Eunice Wale.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry L. Davis, Gary (Verna) Davis, Nancy (George) Hayman, Joan (Ira) Bounds Strickland; eight grandchildren, Frances Hayman Smith, Truett Hayman, Jennifer Ryan, Jeremy (Angel) Bounds, Hoyt (Sandra) Davis, Jessica Bounds, and Vanessa (Keith) Kingrey; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and her beloved niece, Beth Johannessen.
