Betty Jane Mansfield

Memorial services for Betty Jane Mansfield, 91, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of New Orleans, La., she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. Betty lived in Hideaway Lake for 40 years, and was a member of the Newcomers Club. She was also a volunteer at Crosby Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Watson Mason, Sr. and Ruth Shields Mason; her husband, Richard “Dick” Pruitt Mansfield; and her twin sister, Ruthie Stanley.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laurie Mansfield; her granddaughter, Kelly Mansfield; her brother, Thomas Watson Mason, Jr.; her nieces, Betty Ruth Holbert, Sharon Shirah, and Peggy Stanley; her great nieces, Holly Holbert, Sherry Shirah, and Tiffany Farr; her great nephew, Brett Holbert; and her friends and family.
